RealmAR - AR Miniatur World

The Idea
AR gives you the possibility to create upon what's already existing in the reality. This application was supposed to create a 3D map from a 2D map that is commonly used in ttrpg. This concrete Map was used for one of my own adventures written for the DOKOMI.
It was supposed to give a more active sense of being at the place and increasing the immersion when playing.
App Development
Using AR-Foundation in Unity and using the in-build image recognition software, I simply spawned the ready-made 3d model on top.
Adding a Particle god ray system gave it the feeling of working with actual light.
3D Models
The biggest Challenge in this project was the 3d modeling. For the first time, I created all the models by myself and also textured them.
